This is another of the baby tarantulas I got yesterday. Her name is Belle.
Her name means “Beauty” and you can clearly see why. I’m going to raise her to be a presentation spider to teach children about tarantulas. It’ll be a few years until she’s big enough, but I can work with her in the meantime.
Here’s Fritzi the seven-legged tarantula. She’s tough, despite missing a leg. She gets around just fine, and her little leg will grow back with a molt or two.
Here’s little Demeter. She’s one of my new baby tarantulas. Isn’t she just the cutest?
I just ordered my 4 new tarantulas!!!
Yay! I’ll be getting 4 new little tarantulas next week! They’ll be one inch spiderlings ofAphonopelma sp.Flagstaff, also known as the Flagstaff Orange Tarantula.
I’m so excited that I can barely keep from rolling on the ground in excitement. I get this way everytime I get a new spider, but now it’s multiplied by 4!
